Call for Papers
Scope of the two parallel sessions, how abstracts are reviewed, the outstanding paper awards, and the travel funding offered for the first time this year.
Abstract submissions closed on 17 September 2026. Authors are notified of the outcome and reviewers' comments by email.
Parallel sessions
- STEMM · Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Medicine。Original research in frontier areas including artificial intelligence, renewable energy, advanced materials, biomedicine, advanced manufacturing, and environment and sustainable development.
- LBHSS · Law, Business, Humanities and Social Sciences。Topics including social equity, economic development, international cooperation, the digital economy, cultural exchange and public governance.
Abstracts
Abstracts of no more than 300 words, in Chinese or English, giving author name, affiliation, parallel session, contact details, paper title and three to five keywords.
Review and presentation
Abstracts are peer reviewed by the conference academic committee, each anonymously by at least two experts in the field, for originality, significance, research quality, clarity and relevance to the conference themes.
At least one author of each accepted paper must register and attend in person. Oral presentations run about eight to ten minutes; the final programme sets the exact length.
Each parallel session selects several Outstanding Paper Presentation awards, judged on the day for academic quality, presentation and responses to questions. Recipients receive a CAPS certificate and a prize.
Travel funding
This edition introduces Travel Funding for the first time, open to authors from universities and research institutions outside Victoria. It covers return airfares and accommodation only and cannot be taken as cash. Each accepted paper may apply for one award.
